To help business to cope with the impact of back pain related absences from the work place, we offer a free service to local businesses. This includes a presentation to the work place addressing the importance of good spinal hygiene with special emphasis on good work practice and ergonomics. Each employee is entitled to a free computerised spinal health assessment and can follow up any spinal concerns with a full spinal evaluation at the Fulham Wellness Chiropractic Clinic at a reduced price. It is important to note that back pain is the single largest reported cause of absence from work and a leading cause of disability. Evidence suggests that manipulation is better than placebo, and physical modalities for acute low back pain, and strong evidence that manipulation works better than placebo, analgesics and GP’s for chronic lower back pain. Evidence indicates that employees are often able to remain at work, or return to work within eight chiropractic treatments.
